Driver dies when car runs off I-75, overturns

VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) - A man was killed Sunday afternoon when his car ran off I-75 and overturned, the Florida Highway Patrol said Monday. Investigators say the 42-year-old driver was heading south of I-75 near Jacaranda Boulevard just before 5 p.m, when his Tesla Model Y went off the road into the grass median and overturned.Troopers say the man, from Plantation, was ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
